Quintana Fishing

Quintana offers many fishing options

Intracoastal Waterway:  A favorite spot for fishing and crabbing.

Brazos River:  From the FM 1495 main beach entrance, turn left on the beach and proceed south. Strong currents
may be present, so use caution.

Fishing Pier:  Located within the Quintana Beach County Park, the lighted pier is handicap accessible and a
favorite spot for night fishing. Free access is available at 8th Street.

The Jetty's:  The south side of the Freeport shipping canal is a popular fishing spot.

Bait, Tackle and Fishing Licenses are available at
Quintana Tackle Shop.  
The "Sand Bar and Grill," located on Lamar Street (turn left after you cross the bridge), is a local favorite for
a cold brew and burger, offering a full menu of sandwiches, dinners,  and appetizers.  979-233-9851.

Reception and Meeting Areas

The Quintana Beach County Park offers large covered deck area's and several enclosed area's for a family

The Quintana Breeze is located just past the County Park on 2nd Street, with a view of the water.  The
Breeze features an indoor fountain, bar area, full kitchen, ice maker and seats up to 100 people.  Visit their
